A fining agent that removes positively charged particles. Used mainly to clarify and remove proteins in white and rose wines. It works best at warmer (>62 F) temperatures. Rack off after approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
Low Level Dose for 5 gallons: Mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in 1/2 to 3/4 cup of warm water. Let stand in warm water for 30 to 60 min. before mixing thoroughly into wine.
